Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + Super
In-office role - 5 days per week on-site (due to the nature of the organisation)
Cox Purtell is currently working with a prestigious organisation based in the Eastern Suburbs with a history spanning over 100 years. A agile workplace with a real community feel, where staff are highly valued and respected.
Our client is looking to hire a professional, motivated and experienced HR Advisor with prior experience across the end-to-end Employee Lifecycle, including Change Management and Process Implementation. This is a really exciting role, with the opportunity to have significant input into the P&C; strategy of the organisation.
The successful candidate would be happy to work in a traditional, values-driven organisation.
Your Area of Responsibilities:
- You will have a key role in consolidating and strengthening our approach to staff through staff recruitment, induction, staff, engagement & wellbeing and staff performance.
- Manage the commencement of recruitment for roles including position approval, review of role descriptions with hiring managers, advertising etc.
- Field and respond to ad-hoc queries from staff members - prioritising as required
- Arrange candidate interviews, reference checks, offer and onboarding.
- Assist business leaders with strategic planning, workforce planning and succession planning where required.
- Facilitate & develop a new process for the Performance Development Cycle including: Performance appraisals, Coaching, Professional Development, Performance Management, Reward and Recognition
- Keep HRIS up to date with employee details, input any changes & ensure data accuracy
- Prepare employee paperwork such as contracts, Change of Status letters, contract extensions etc
- Liaise with ITC and Payroll teams to produce HR metrics and reports
- Proactively monitor and identify staff compliance related issues
- Identify issues or inefficiencies in current processes and propose and implement enhanced procedures as required
- Monitor the People and Culture inbox
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate would have extensive HR experience and have been through transformation projects previously.
- Professional maturity and resilience is essential.
- A solution-oriented person, with an ability to work flexibly in order to meet the varying and developing demands of the role.
- Ability to make improvements to improve efficiency and current processes where deemed necessary.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines, and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks.
- Excellent management of electronic and hard copy files with logical easy-to-find categorisation.
- Strong customer service skills.
- An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and use various IT systems including HRIS
