Your current company
Opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a large organisation located in Hobart CBD for a 12 Month Contract.

Your recent role
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and works alongside the Human Resources team.

The focus of the Human Resources Business Partner position is to provide professional generalist Human Resources coaching and advice to managers and employees in designated departments and across the business, as well as to manage Human Resources related projects within those departments and contribute to strategic initiatives. The HR BP will also anticipate and assess needs related to account areas, and across the business to develop integrated solutions.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR (Human Resources) or related field or equivalent experience in an HR/P&C; role.




- Strong understanding and experience in contemporary HR practice.
- Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, other employment legislation across jurisdictions, and experience in interpreting and applying Awards, agreements, policies, procedures, and other industrial instruments.
- Knowledge and practical experience in job evaluation techniques.
- Digital competency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
