ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Our Client based in Sydney, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team. You will be expected to demonstrate your strong communication skills and previous experiences in a business partnering position, consulting and providing advice to a range of business units across Council.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

An initial 6 month contract. Your role as a HR BP is to provide strategic leadership and advice to Council. You will support managers in their roles as leaders and provide explicit HR information, alongside assisting the implementation of multiple HR projects.

DUTIES.

- Foster working relationships with business unit managers
- Employee relations, remuneration and benefits, WH&S;,



change management and learning & development
- Apply IR skills to coach managers and manage work performance
- Assist with Worker's Compensation and RTW coordination duties as required
- Interpret employment legislation and industrial awards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

- Tertiary qualifications in HRM or relevant
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant role
- Previous experience working for Local Council
- Experience and skills in HR and WHS policy and procedures reviewal
