The Chance

An opportunity has become available to join Alstom at one of our key service/maintenance depots, the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility (WMF). The team at the WMF play a critical role in ensuring the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) fleet is maintained and operating to the highest standard.

Joining the team as a Lead Maintenance Technician , you will use technical skills, knowledge, and experience to support and provide guidance for fault finding, diagnostics, rectification, post work testing, root cause analysis and continuous improvement of train systems. This is in order to achieve and exceed performance obligations as per the QNGR Contract. Your responsibilities will include;

- Routine preventative maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
- On-call response
- In-service incident support and coordinating vehicle recovery

About You





We are seeking an experienced Safety professional with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, and provide critical guidance and support to the operation. You will also have;

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical stakeholders
- The ability to work under pressure and autonomously
- Previous experience Rollingstock maintenance
- Relevant trade qualification and/or engineering degree
