The Role
The National People and Culture Manager will be a key member of Danny Met Sally’s leadership team, championing a high-performing, inclusive, and team-oriented organisational culture. Your focus will be on driving performance, while partnering with the Executive and Senior Management team to shape and evolve the strategic workforce direction.
Your portfolio will include HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations/Industrial Relations, HR Operations (including advice, services and policy) and System Implementation. You will work closely with the People and Culture Advisor to ensure operational excellence and develop and implement a strategy to make Danny Met Sally an employer of choice.
This is a permanent Full-Time role, based in one of our Adelaide (CBD) or Sydney (St Leonards) offices.
About you

The National People & Culture Manager reports to the CEO, and will take the reins of the division, driving organisation capability, growth and reputation as the best in the business. This will be achieved through a collaborative and innovative approach aligning with our values of Integrity, Inspire, Empathy, Mindfulness, Creative and BOLD.
The role is not your typical P&C; Manager role- you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisations future by designing and delivering on key strategic initiatives and projects. You will require demonstrated experience across the full suite of human resource functions, the ability to be hands on and understand operations within a NDIS business is required.
To be successful, you will have a positive outlook, matched with excellent communication to enable you to quickly build relationships across all levels.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the disability / healthcare sector
- Able to work autonomously in a busy and varied environment with changing priorities
- Able to build rapport and trust with team members and leaders
- Bright personality with a positive can-do attitude
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Willing to go above and beyond to support team member’s
- You will also be required to hold or undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic people initiatives aligned with organisational goals
- Oversee onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Provide advice, support, assistance to the leadership team across the company
- Oversee management of the employee performance review and development system and ensure this is linked to individual and organisational values and development activities.
- Develop and implement workforce and succession planning frameworks for Danny Met Sally
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation
- Be instrumental in NDIS auditing process and preparation
- Enable business leaders to effectively manage and support their people and drive solid engagement, high performance and a constructive culture
- Interpret the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards to ensure consistent employment and conditions are being applied to minimise any industrial risks and claims.
- Lead the Work Health & Safety (WHS) function of the organisation including injury management and return to work outcomes
- Ensure SCHADS Award is applied appropriately including Award rates
