This organisation is looking for a Team Manager - People and Culture to join the team on a permanent full time basis.
Your new role
As Team Manager you will play a key role in leading a team of People and Culture Business Partners and working collaboratively across Council to deliver corporate plan in collaboration with the Townsville Community. You will support the leadership team in delivering organisation change and development initiatives to address key people and culture areas including workforce planning, Diversity and inclusion and workplace culture.
You will manage the development of policies that deliver on business goals and optimise workforce engagement whilst embedding diversity and equity into the collaborative working culture at all levels of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to demonstrate proven managerial expertise in providing sound and consistent leadership and management of best practice of the human resource function and provision of expert technical advice. You will demonstrate clear communication and an ability to negotiate outcomes and constructively challenge assumptions to achieve divisional objectives. Previously worked with the breadth and complexity of both a blue and white collar workforce. Hold a Relevant Tertiary / Professional Qualification in Business, Human Resources, Law or a related field.
