About the role
West Moreton Hospital and Health Service covers an area that is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. This provides for a unique opportunity to set the communities expectations about their health service for the future. The Project Manager, Information Technology Services will manage a medium scale Information Management and Information Communication Technology (ICT) Project by ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to support the Digital Health plan.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in the management of a medium scale IM/ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry (SFIA skill: PRMG: Level 5)
- Proven ability to develop and manage one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, and facilitate the business change decision-making processes, and the planning and implementation of change. (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 5)
- Understanding of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5)
- Proven effective negotiation, consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring a small to medium sized team. (NHS: Leading change through people)
- Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members. (NHS: Cooperative working)
