The role
Reporting to the Principal Business Analyst, you will deliver specialist system support and support the deployment of process mining tools across the Department. You will also work with state-wide, regional and local teams to improve knowledge of analytical techniques and support data analytics initiatives across the Department of Health.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertake advanced analysis of data utilising various applications and methods
- Support the reporting deliverables which includes extracting data from multiple sources, importing and merging data into databases, creating dashboards and report templates, producing reports, analysing performance results, developing, and delivering key findings.
- Develop analysis and reports from human resource, financial and operational data.
- Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
The successful person
You will:
- Undertake advanced analysis of data utilising various applications and methods to enable integrated data reporting for the Program.
- Work with the business to resolve process issues and focus on training system users in the areas of finance, procurement, asset management and plant maintenance.
- Have experience performing root cause analysis on internal data, external data,
and processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Develop analysis and reports from human resource, financial and operational data.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake high level, complex, sensitive and time critical tasks and projects.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key personnel in internal and external entities.
