Digital Victoria sits within the Department of Government Services (DGS). DGS was established on 1 January 2023 to improve Victorian's experience of doing business and interacting with the government.

An exciting opportunity, fixed term until 30 June 2024, exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Common Corporate Platforms as a Senior Finance Officer.

The Common Corporate Platforms (CCP) program team, within Digital Victoria, will deliver modern, cloud-based platforms and process consolidation across Whole of Victorian Government (WOVG) functions for Human Resources, Procurement and Finance.

The role of the Senior Finance Officer will:

- support financial management and reporting across the CCP and Technology and Transformation
- develop and maintain budget and forecast models, as well as liasing with the branches




- provide monthly reporting and variance analysis
- provide financial advice, monitor expenditure, manage accounts payables and receivables
- build strategic relationships, collaborate and support stakeholders across the department.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

- management accounting experience including budget, forecast and monthly reporting and analysis.
- advanced excel skills and experience using ERP solutions (preferably Oracle).
- excellent stakeholder engagement skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- experience developing and presenting reports, statistics and wide range of written documentation.
- well developed planning and organisational skills.
- strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
