APG Workforce are currently seeking a part time Site Trainer in Pendle Hill. Although this role will be part time there may be opportunity for more hours and becoming a permanent position.
Hours:
- Part-time casual 2-3 days a week (days can be flexible)
- Candidates must have the flexibility to do some training for nightshift staff who start at 9pm start
- Standard Hours 8 to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
Objectives of the Role
- To coordinate, deliver and assess training
- To develop and maintain workplace systems
- Conduct site Inductions for Agency & Baiada staff
- Perform workplace inspections including safety walks and risk assessments
- Guide/mentor and facilitate the work of others
- Demonstrate sound leadership skills and the ability to maintain high standards of work and behaviour
- Have a proven record of protected work and the ability to actively promote safe working practices on the job
Typical tasks include:
- Coordinate and facilitate site inductions
- Maintaining training matrix
- Conduct toolbox talks
- Forecast training needs
- Provide training to required workers on company policies and procedures
- Training and assessing employees
- Conduct risk assessments and manual handling risk assessments
Essential Qualifications / Licences
- Qualifications for Training and Assessing
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Basic communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work in a team environment to resolve problems or improve systems
- Structured training in HACCP for operator level or relevant food handling training
- Understanding of ISO 9001, HACCP, WHS and environmental systems in the workplace
