Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Water Services team.
- Temporary Full-Time (12-month traineeship) – 38 hours per week
- Location - Boggabilla
- Attractive Salary ranging from $540.10 up to $742.65 (PLUS Superannuation) depending on qualifications and experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Trainee Labourer/Operator role is a 12 month training and development course aimed at individuals who are self-motivated and driven to make the most of this opportunity to excel their career.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Commit to undertaking a Certificate III in Local Government Operational Works and to undertaking a 24 month on the job traineeship
- Ability to learn the operation of construction fleet, its attachments and other plant equipment in a competent and safe manner;
- Demonstrated strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Relevant experience in a Labouring environment.
- Hold a WHS General Construction Induction Card.
- Hold a minimum of a current Learner’s permit (Class C)
with the requirement to have achieved a Provisional Licence (Class C) within twelve (12) months of commencement.
