About the Role

We are currently looking for a Law Clerk to join our busy Family Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department undertaking a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

- Drafting correspondence;
- Drafting Court documentation;
- Taking instructions from clients where necessary;
- Liaising with clients both in person and over the phone;
- Sending email correspondence;
- Filing Court documents;
- Reviewing and collating financial disclosure; and
- Performing other related duties as requested.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- liaising with clients, legal representatives and third parties;
- drafting documentation;




- compiling briefs to Counsel and other experts;
- completing legal research.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for a responsible and reliable person. To be successful in this role, you will:

- be self-motivated, have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a Team;
- possess excellent time management and organisational skills;
- have the ability to provide high level client focused service with a demonstrated attention to detail;
- be proficient with Microsoft Office;
- follow instructions; and
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
