Industry Skills Australia (ISA) is looking for a fulltime Finance Officer based in our Melbourne CBD office.

The Finance Officer will be responsible for the daily finance operation and provide a range of processing activities that support the organisation.

THE FINANCE OFFICER WILL:

- Accounts payable including processing invoices received, ensure correct use of appropriate purchasing controls, liaise with suppliers and contractors, prepare batch payments using an online banking platform.
- Process the fortnightly payroll using KeyPay (or similar payroll software).
- Bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations
- Provides assistance to the Finance Manager with end of month management reports and statutory reporting
- Maintain employer obligations including PAYG, and superannuation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders using a range of platforms.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- Demonstrated experience with full function accounting duties within a small team workplace (essential)
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of people (essential)




- Able to work independently and autonomously without supervision and as part of a broader team (essential)
- A high level of motivation as well as excellent organisational and administrative abilities (essential)
- Experience using Microsoft NAVISION, Business Central 365 similar accounting software will be highly regarded
