Northline are seeking an experienced and self motivated Fleet Controller to work at our Sydney Freight depot located in Wetherill Park. This is a permanent full time (salary), Monday to Friday.

About the Job

Generate schedules to manage the daily pick-up of freight to / from customers

Prepare and administrate pick-up paperwork

Ensure communication between the Fleet team, Drivers and Loaders on all delivery/pick-up matters

Arrange for deliveries inside and outside of normal schedules

Manage and monitor Drivers’ daily runs through GPS tracking

Manage PUD contractor base including compliance audits and vehicle inspections

About You

Demonstrated experience using a computerised dispatch system and Microsoft Office suite





Excellent planning abilities with high attention to detail and knowledge of the Metro Area

Integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism and a customer centric-approach to problem solving

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a dynamic and quick-paced environment

Effective time-management skills coupled with resilience, adaptability and the ability to multitask

Comprehensive understanding of Chain of Responsibility compliance

Experience working in an environment with a commitment to Health, Safety & Environment practices

Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry will be highly regarded

Comprehensive understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines, Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Fatigue Management for Commercial Vehicle Drivers advantageous
