Our client, a renowned vineyard in the region, is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for ongoing roles within their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the heart of the wine industry, contributing to the production and distribution of premium wines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move grape bins, pallets, and other materials efficiently around the vineyard and production area
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe and secure handling of goods
- Support vineyard operations during harvest season by transporting harvested grapes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organised work environment
- Conduct routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition
What We’re Looking For:
- Current forklift licence and relevant experience in a similar role (vineyard or agricultural experience is a plus)
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow vineyard safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
including outdoor settings in varying weather conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable transport and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends during peak seasons
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
