What are we looking for?
- Someone who is physically fit and keen to work as a Freight Handler.
- Available to work on a full time basis - 38 hours per week.
- Can work 3am to 10:36am
- Based at our Salisbury QLD depot.
This role will be responsible for:
- Sorting and moving freight including cartons, satchels and parcels into designated bays, cages, and crates.
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks including lifting heavy and bulky freight items (up to 25kgs at times)
- Reading labels and sorting freight into the correct areas.
- Scanning freight as required.
- Support freight movements from our conveyor system to designated areas.
- Palletising and shrink-wrapping freight.
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required.
- Ensure you maintain a safe working environment.
What is required?
- You have Steel toe cap shoes or would be willing to get some.
- You have the right to work in Australia (Including visas).
- You consent to have a criminal record check.
- You are capable of lifting and moving parcels up to 25kgs (with two people if needed).
