Join our Macquarie Capital Finance team as a Business manager in the Financial Management Group (FMG) supporting the Macquarie Capital business and work on an exciting range of initiatives to unlock the potential of our team.
What you’ll do
The Macquarie Capital Finance COO team oversees Finance’s strategic, operational, and cultural foundations. No two days will look the same with your tasks varying to focus on high impact and high visibility deliverables.
As part of this team, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with Finance leaders to support the delivery of our strategy
- Designing and writing compelling communications to our stakeholders and employees which promote and enhance the strategy and culture of our business and team
- Partner closely with our transformation specialists to advocate, coordinate and support the delivery of change initiatives
- Provide business operational and logistical support on a range of activities and events, including tailored support to our leadership team
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve, transform and innovate across Finance and the broader Macquarie Capital group
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Finance,
the Finance Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.

This role is an opportunity for a highly talented individual with outstanding communication skills to join one of Australia’s leading organisations. It will appeal to someone who has:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Media, Communications, or other relevant degree
- Strong planning skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent verbal and written communications through a variety of mediums including email, presentations, formal reports and social media
- A flexible, intuitive and innovative approach to your work
- A passion for learning and enjoy solving a variety of business problems
- Natural collaborator with the ability to deliver within a high-performing team
- Background in Finance is advantageous but not required
- Experience with basic graphics design and video editing advantageous but not required
