Job Description

The position is responsible for Coordinating all deliveries/contractors for Castle Residences and Porter House Hotel using the MRV and Valet AGV operating systems.

Your duties will include but not limited to :

- Supporting the flow of deliveries in and out of the loading bay ensuring safe, secure and efficient service.





- Coordinating enquiries from residents for use of the loading dock and carparking.
- Maintaining good liaison, open communication and build relationships with residents / all regular delivery companies.
- Ensure that the street level is kept in a well-presented manner.
- Informing the Purchasing / Loading Bay Manager of any Incidents within the Loading Bay area of operation.
- Follow procedures for loading bay operation – monitoring of dock congestion, peak hours of use, street access, comply with all health and safety regulations
- Understand and become familiar with the orientation of the building including; garbage and recycling, loading bays, car parking, location of Building systems relating to Dock operation.
- Operating the MRV lift for delivery trucks to the loading bay.
- Operating the AVG car parking lift when needed.
- Coordinate stores using best practice safety standards for food handling and receiving.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the Purchasing/Loading Bay Manager.

Qualifications

- Previous loading bay and logistics experience beneficial but not necessary
- Sound understanding of Outlook and Microsoft programs
- Flexible with hours and positive attitude to work
- Strong work ethic
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
- Team player
- Honest, reliable and dedicated
