Your new role

Braums is currently looking for an experienced and switched-on Logistics and Warehouse Storeperson to join the team. This position is full time and will be based in Rydalmere.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as the Logistics and Warehouse Storeperson, you will:

- Receives and inspects all deliveries (external and internal),
- To identify, label & store incoming stock;
- Is responsible for the care of drawings, samples and equipment used in the inspection process;
- To recognise and quarantine non-conforming product and report non-conformances detected as per written procedures;
- To be responsible for the warehouse inventory;




- To be responsible for stock control & stock takes;
- To handle and pack product so as to avoid damage and deterioration during storage, kitting and shipping;
- Maintain correct stock quantities in the computer system;
- To manage the RMA system for customer returned products;
- Picking of kits for production;
- To maintain system records as required;
- To pick, pack & dispatch customer orders;
- Invoicing of goods sold;
- Arranges transport and transport documentation;
- May be required to make some local delivers in company utility with a trailer.
- Notify the Operations Manager of any discrepancies between the goods packed and the picking slip;
- Ensures goods prepared for dispatch are in line with customer requirements;
- Maintains consignment note files;
- Assist the Operations Manager with the production planning and scheduling based on the back order reports and forecast sales.
- Assist the Operations Manager and Supply Chain Manager in the purchasing of material for production.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Tertiary education in Logistics and production planning preferred.
- At least 5 years experience as a storeperson / logistic with production planning.
- Must hold a current drivers.
- Must hold a current fork lift licence.
- Must be confident in using basic computer systems including the Microsoft Office suite.
