Role & Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of a Logistics Coordinator Intern are to assist in tracking and navigating containers and stock ordered from factories from suppliers with the intention to import goods into our warehouses to be distributed Australia-wide.
- Assist Logistics department in logistical processes of ordering stock from factory.
- Assist with tracking and navigating stock, containers and shipments arriving to warehouses
- Update and advise warehouses on ETD/ETA & Delivery dates
- Work closely with logistics department in engaging relations with shipping companies to ensure that all information is correctly updated.
- Working closely with warehouses and direct customers and ensuring all their needs are met.
1. Raise invoices to direct customers
2. Data entries for containers arriving
3. Ensuring all ETA & delivery information is correct and up to date
4. Working closely with the warehouses and direct customers to ensure that all parties are content and well informed about the containers deliveries and expectations.
Qualifications and education requirements
Grade 12 certificate or other higher educational certificates (Diploma/ Bachelors)
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate computer knowledge and experience
- Confidence with Microsoft Excel
Additional Notes
Fluent in English with the ability to maintain proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. To be able to communicate effectively to all parties, including via email and telephone communications.
