The role..
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to be based at our rapid-paced Ingleburn facility.
You will focus on driving operational excellence by managing and controlling aspects of the operations whilst developing and influencing positive team outcomes.
Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that each required material is picked and loaded on time on every occasion without injury to our people, plant or equipment.
You will lead, motivate and empower employees through effective & open communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback and teambuilding to maximise customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and team productivity.
What you'll bring…
- Previous experience managing a team in a fast-paced warehouse workplace - (experience in warehouse or logistics environment will be highly regarded)
- Experience using computerised inventory and logistics systems (SAP highly regarded)
- The ability to monitor employee productivity & provide constructive feedback & coaching
- Strong communicator with excellent time management
- Ability to evaluate data to plan and forecast warehouse activities
- Experienced with safety walks, toolbox talks and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
