This position is for the afternoon shift for 3PL starting at 1:30pm and ending at 9:30pm. Working hands-on this role offers a lot of chance to the right candidate keen to put their stamp on the business and be rewarded. You will be managing the despatch and transport trucks for local and interstate transfer of automotive goods.

The Role

The emphasis here is on:

- Taking outstanding CARE of the outgoing stock, the team members and customers,
- Leadership, Mentoring and training
- Being pro-active, decisive and autonomous

Dutiers will include:





- Ensure the highest levels of customer service is provided to their customers and dealerships
- Ensure strong communication with the transport service providers
- Manage the sorting, loading and manifesting of freight to linehaul vehicles
including managing staff and drivers to meet linehaul dispatch windows
- Identify, photograph and communicate packaging issues to improve
presentation of product to dealers
- Track and record MHU (stillage) usage
- Liaise with management regarding dealer satisfaction levels and
recurring issues that need to be resolved and champion this resolution
- Ensure completion of daily admin requirements including information capture
and email communications
- Professionally liaise with drivers, carriers, staff and warehouse site personnel
- Supports compliance with site safety and Chain of Responsibility (COR)
requirements + OH&S; standards
- Drive the team to be proactive in their duties with particular focus on freight presentation, accuracy and damage reduction
