Our client is a leader in the water pump industry, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. With a focus on delivering high-performance water pump systems, they are expanding their team and seeking a skilled Production Assembler to contribute to their success.

As a Production Assembler specializing in water pumps, you will be integral to the production process, responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems that adhere to industry standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, solid mechanical skills, and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards. This starts as a contract/casual position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reading and Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, bills of materials, and written instructions for accurate assembly.
- Assembly: Proficiently assemble mechanical components and products using both hand and power tools.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance criteria.
- Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to resolve issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and conducive to efficient production.
- Team Collaboration:



Work effectively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with industrial product assembly is highly desirable, and familiarity with water pump equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical Skills: Demonstrated ability to assemble and fit mechanical products, with knowledge of using various power and hand tools.
- Blueprint Reading: Competence in reading and interpreting job instructions and standard blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Work Ethic: Reliable and able to meet deadlines with a strong work ethic and commitment to the job.
