The purpose of the Production Logistics Coordinator is to assist in planning and overseeing the set up and break down of all Crown Events including the storage and transportation of Crown Assets.
The Production Logistics Coordinator will use AV technical and industry knowledge to process all AV Forms and address Internal Enquires, this includes determining equipment required, quoting, providing timelines, trouble shooting and garnering resources as appropriate.
This role includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing quotes, improving and documenting processes keeping accurate records, coordinating labour and infrastructural resources.
The Production Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the Productions Warehouse.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Work in conjunction with the production management team,
contractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate Event/Activation requirements.
- Coordinate logistics both labour and infrastructure to meet Event/Activation requirements and deadlines.
- Assist the Events Operations Manager in checking incoming invoices and tracking finances, liaising with finance/admin to ensure accurate payments and records are made.
- Assist with coordinating all Production costs for an Event/Activation - including consumables, labour and infrastructure keeping accurate records that will also be used for on charge purposes.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment ie. forklift services, coordinating waste removal, gas deliveries and floor cleaning within the Production warehouse.
- Provide everyday support with administrative, production and logistics requirements to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings using Outlook and ensure that the rooms are set up correctly with the appropriate equipment.
- Use technical knowledge to assist with any issues with regards to the setup of Audio-Visual equipment that may arise for any event or activation to ensure deadlines are met and a successful outcome for all.
The following criteria will be considered when reviewing applicants:
- Demonstrated experience in the Audio & Visual multimedia industry
- Events Productions experience or Entertainment Management qualifications highly desirable.
