Based on our continued and significant market growth and operational expansion it’s now time to appoint a first-rate Production Manager to lead our Potting/Advanced Machinery Department. Someone who wants to maintain the delivery of outstanding results!

About the role:

Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, your role will be to:

- Manage daily operations of the assembly line, ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget.
- Establish a routine maintenance schedule to ensure machines are running efficiently and to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and addressing personnel issues.
- Ensure all maintenance and cleaning activities comply with safety regulations to protect workers and maintain a safe working workplace.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output on the assembly line.
- Provide ongoing training to assembly line workers, ensuring they are skilled and knowledgeable in their roles.
- Work closely with other departments, such as quality control, logistics, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.

About you

A positive, motivated, hands-on Production leader, you will have a passion for achieving the highest levels of quality, customer service, safety and efficiency.



You will have outstanding communication and problem-solving skills and an ability to work well within a diverse team. Manufacturing sector experience is required, ideally in the areas of maintenance, high volume production and projects within horticulture, food, FMCG, packaging or related industries. Experience with ERP and automation systems would be highly regarded, and plant nursery experience would be advantageous.
