About the role:

This role will be part of the Asset Planning team that is a function of Properties Division, Victoria Police. This team manages the short, medium and long-term infrastructure requirements for Victoria Police that includes police stations, training facilities and transport and logistics assets. This role will establish and manage a program of work to produce strategic infrastructure plans for Victoria Police. This role will also be required to assist with other functions of the Asset Planning team such as identifying infrastructure requirements, asset acquisitions and disposal and maintaining design standards for police facilities.

Your duties will include:

- Establishing and managing a program of work to produce strategic infrastructure plans for Victoria Police
- Assisting Victoria Police to identify and prioritise infrastructure requirements
- Assist with the development of business cases/funding submissions
- Meeting team requirements when required
- Fostering a customer centric, innovative and collaborative environment

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- Demonstrated project management experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience identifying, assessing and effectively mitigating risks




- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Relevant qualifications and/or qualified accreditations
- Experience working in a team environment

Requirements and relevant information:

- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
- In accordance with organisational policy, all Victoria Police employees are required to be fully vaccinated (including a booster vaccination) against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exception. As such your employment with Victoria Police is subject to providing evidence of your vaccination status.
