An excellent opportunity is available to be part of an innovative and exciting program that provides Electronic Warfare training for the ADF. The successful applicants will be responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on a diverse range of Mobile Threat Systems including radar, communications, command and control, network systems, and associated vehicles and equipment. Our team of Operator/Maintainers is also responsible for deploying and operating the Threat Systems within the Western Training Area (Darling Downs district of Queensland) and other areas.

Due to internal promotions, there are currently two vacancies in this exciting program; one for a Radar/Communications Specialist, and one for a Mechanical/Diesel fitter.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field operations, both local and deployed, during standard and non-standard hours in support of the ADF Air Warfare training program.
- Carry out operational, planned and corrective maintenance on a variety of Threat Systems and equipment in accordance with the Maintenance Management Plan.
- Contribute to engineering,



maintenance and procedural solutions in a multi discipline setting, working closely with engineering and logistic support elements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure training scenario outcomes and customer objectives are achieved.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience (Radar/Communications Specialist):

- Cert III/IV in electrical/electronics/communications or similar disciplines (Essential)
- Experience in operating advanced Communications/Radar/Electronic Warfare systems (Highly Desirable)
- Experience within a Defence/Defence Industry operations or technical maintenance environment (Highly Desirable)
- Knowledge in RF principles (Highly Desirable)

Skills, Qualifications and Experience (Mechanical/Diesel Fitter):

- Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or similar discipline (Essential)
- Experience in maintaining a variety of generators, diesel heavy vehicles and hydro-mechanical systems (Highly Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience in auto electrics (Desirable)
- Experience within a Defence/Defence Industry operations or technical maintenance environment (Desirable)

All Positions:

- Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision (Essential)
- HC Licence (or ability to obtain) (Essential)
