Redpath Australia currently has opportunities for a Stores Supervisor at our Olympic Dam Project in South Australia.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibility is to manage the stores team in line with company policies and to lead them to success through strategic planning and decision making.
Roster: 8 days on 6 days off
FIFO: available from Adelaide
Camp: Good Camp and onsite camp facilities – Ensuite rooms, Gym, Pool, Wet Mess, Telstra and Optus available
Duties:
- Liaise with workshop superintendents/manager to ensure stock levels are adequate;
- Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to ensure on time deliveries of goods;
- Maintain the stores budget, be able to sensibly maintain capital levels of stock and forecast changes to meet maintenance demands;
- Manage the stores team on a day to day basis;
- Use Redpath systems to run reports, transfer stock in and out of stores, allocate parts to assets, work orders and update;
- unload and load trucks;
- ensure housekeeping around workshop and warehouse is kept at a good standard.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid manual car licence;
- Ability to identify all types of mining consumables used on site;
- The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised;
- good verbal & written communication skills;
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks safely;
- A drive for continuous improvement and innovative solutions;
- Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate
- A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
