The Opportunity

In this newly created role, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our Global Trade Compliance team at CSL Behring (Broadmeadows site).

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance, you will ensure that CSL Behring (Australia) Pty Ltd adheres to trade compliance laws and regulations about the importation and exportation of goods and services. We are looking for candidates with knowledge and understanding of technical trade compliance requirements and their application to the business. In this diverse role, you will audit transactions for compliance and risk management, support SAP/GTS business processes, maintain regulatory permits and licences and provide trade compliance guidance across multiple stakeholder groups.

The Role

- Manage Customs Brokers/Filers and perform transaction auditing
- Maintain regulatory licences and permits and declaration statements
- Complete restricted party screening against business partners and transactions
- Maintain Manuals, SOPs, master classification, and related party lists
- Support the SAP/Global Trade Services (GTS) export declaration filing process
- Ensure adherence to export controls




- Provide trade compliance guidance to multiple business stakeholders

Your skills and experience

- Bachelor's Degree or similar in International Trade, Finance, Logistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in International Trade Compliance or Logistics
- Experience in Customs Broker/Filer management
- Capable of managing competing projects/deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge or experience in SAP/GTS and trade compliance data management software will be valued
- Completion of an accredited Import/Export compliance training program will be highly considered
