About the Role
Reporting to the Melbourne Operations Manager, the pm shift allocator is responsible for the coordinating with drivers and customers and keeping up-to-date information on deliveries both in our system throughout our local and national teams. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery, and you'll work closely with the Operations and Warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with both drivers, subcontractors and customers - ensuring data integrity within our system.
- Responding to customer queries.
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information to our interstate and Warehouse teams.
- Reviewing driver paper work,
ensuring all required information is present.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Safety teams to uphold our top-tier compliance and safety standards.
- Occasional warehouse support.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Proven experience in Transport
- Highly organised and thorough, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate under pressure and deal with all types of people.
- Team-oriented mindset with a solid willingness to learn.
- Excellent professional communication and presentation skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Knowledge of both Metro Melbourne and Interstate movements
- HR / MR / MC License is highly regarded
