Metroll is a leading national manufacturer & distributor of metal building products.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Yardman / Storeperson to assist with our growing business in Mackay.
The Role involves:
- Hands on assembly of orders & loading of daily despatches. Pick & Pack.
- Load & Unload of delivery vehicles.
- Outside Yardsman work & assembly of steel orders.
- Compliance with load mass, dimension & restraint.
- Use of Forklifts. Compliance with Safety requirements.
This is a hands on / on the floor role that will require keen attention to detail.
Previous experience in the Roofing, hardware, building, shed or metal industry would be very desirable. Previous experience in this type of role is essential.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Current High Risk / Forklift License.
- Good Safe Work practices & current drivers license.
- Good past experience in Goods Receipt & Despatch.
- Good communication skills.
- Be honest, self-motivated and have a solid desire to assist in developing the business.
- You will be required to complete a medical assessment and D&A; test.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.
