As a recruiting partner of Habasit AG, we are looking for exactly you as Finance Manager (a) at Habasit Australia & New Zealand located in Sydney (Silverwater). Your mission is to work with the Country Manager, in conjunction with the Head of Finance – North & Central EMEA, to ensure effective financial management, control, and reporting for Habasit Australia & Recent Zealand Selling Units. You will ensure financial information produced is accurate, timely and in accordance with region & Group regulations, you will produce financial information that will facilitate challenge to all areas of the business and assist in managing an effective relationship with external financial bodies.

What You Will Be Doing

- Manage all accounting processes in the business
- Prepare and publish timely financial statements monthly
- Ensure that all Regional & Group Reporting requirements and accounting deadlines are achieved




- In conjunction with the Country Manager & HOF, work with the business to set annual budgets that meet Regional & Group requirements
- Ensure monthly/quarterly Regional & Group matching processes are performed to meet deadlines
- Ensure appropriate and accurate records of Company assets are maintained
- Ensure appropriate controls and safeguards over company assets; ensure rigorous financial planning and control; provide risk management and working capital management for the business
- Liaise with external advisers such as the auditors and bank
- Develop and maintain documentation of finance processes
- Manage day to day cash flow in AUD / NZD and other currencies, as appropriate
- Contribute as part of relevant teams within the business, sharing accurate information that will assist managers to improve company profitability
- Take responsibility for the standard costing system
- Assume responsibility of ‘Key User - Finance’ for the initial SAP implementation and support thereafter
- Take responsibility for the accuracy of data within the ERP system (SAP)
- Contribute to the production of annual statutory accounts
- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations such as PAYG & Superannuation
- Carry out Personal Development and ‘one to one’ review meetings in line with Company procedures
- Ensure the Finance team is appropriately staffed to meet the needs of the business




- Ensure that all internal and external financial reporting requirements are achieved
- Ensure that all Region, Group Reporting requirements and accounting deadlines are achieved

What You Bring To The Job

- Qualified as a CA or CPA, possessing a broad base of post qualification experience coupled with exposure to operating at Finance Manager level
- Experience of costing, manufacturing/processing organisation, and ERP systems preferably SAP
- Advanced IT skills, especially Microsoft
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage and develop a team
- Strong link to Habasit Core Values
