Long term permanent opportunity for a dedicated HSE Advisor within the Construction Industry

have a fantastic opportunity for a HSE Advisor to work for a well-established mid tier construction contractor. This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity working commercial construction projects in the Perth metropolitan area.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Provide support and direction on all HSE related matters.
- Assist with incident management, risk mitigation, injuries and return to work management.
- Supervise construction activities providing advice to minimise risks and ensure compliance with OHS legislation, established workplace rules and the HSE Management Plan.
- Conduct health and safety inductions for recent employees.
- Be the key implementer of HSEQ strategies and the focal point for any related queries.
- Coordinate and contribute to regular pre-start safety meetings to drive continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures.
- Collate materials for toolbox talks, HSE-related meetings and pre-starts.
- Schedule intermittent auditing of ISO accreditations to ensure continuous compliance.
- Liaise with Project Manager to discuss ways to implement Work, Health and Safety systems.
- Continuously encourage and promote a “safety-first” culture in the workplace.
Essential criteria:
- 2+ years experience in a HSE Advisory position.
- Ideally have HammerTech software experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety are advantageous.
- Previous experience within the construction sector.
- Proven Risk Management Services experience.
- Strong knowledge of HSE practices and current legislation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
