Your new company
This organisation is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of steel roofing, cladding, and flooring, and due to continuous growth, they are relocating to a brand-recent facility in Central Adelaide. They are looking for someone to work on a short-term contract that could see extension into July 2023!
Your new role
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be required to do the following:
- Fitting guards
- Screwing / Fixing metal flooring
- Drilling
- Assembling and fitting drive train equipment (Motors / sprockets / Chains /Tensioners)
- Minor Welding
- Competent in workshop equipment (Grinder, drill, finisher, etc)
- Can operate small scissor lift (EWP ticket preferred)
- Fork ticket beneficial but not essential
- Good attitude to safety and following safe systems of work
- Can use Mag Drill
What you'll need to succeed
- Fit & healthy
- Mechanical Fitter Qualifications or extensive work history
- Ability to work autonomously
- Can read/interpret plans and drawings
