Operators are responsible to the Production/WHSE Supervisors, Plant Manager/Logistics Manager, Operations Manager and ultimately the General Manager for all of the activities performed at Sensient. These activities include, but are not limited to:

- Efficiency of Production
- Quality of Production
- Maintaining Safe Working Procedures
- Maintaining Good Food Hygiene Practices
- Maintaining Clean and Sanitary Work Environment

Key Responsibilities:

The operators are required to:

1. Review daily production schedule with Supervisor.
2. Follow instructions from their supervisor on their daily duties and ensure that these are completed. In the event that the duties cannot be completed in a normal day the operator shall give the supervisor enough notice to enable the supervisor to re-evaluate the days requirements.
3. Ensure that all written procedures and instructions are understood and followed.
4. Ensure that the correct materials are used when manufacturing or picking as per the batch sheet or picking list. Any deviation or discrepancy must be brought to the attention of the supervisor immediately.
5. Be responsible for the quality of product produced. Any deviation to the standard shall be reported to the supervisor immediately.
6. Be responsible for the correct packing and presentation of all products.
7.



Ensure that all good housekeeping and hygiene procedures are followed. Housekeeping shall be in conformance to the requirements of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety guidelines.
8. Work in a safe manner and to conform to instructions by the supervisor, food safety guidelines and OH&S; requirements. Any unsafe work practices shall be brought to the attention of the supervisor and the safety representative on site.
9. Attend courses, meetings and presentations as requested by the company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

- Reading and General Comprehension skills
- 2 - 4 years of experience in related food business, but not required
- Able to understand and follow directions
