Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will get to:

- Support and guide multiple data engineering projects
- Ingest data from a wide variety of sources, including public and private
- Develop and maintain big data pipelines
- Initiate API-triggered pipelines and data transformations
- Optimize designs via analytical, numerical, and/or empirical assessments
- Determine root-cause of test failures and production problems
- Support continuous product and process improvement
- Some travel to support the off-site launch of new factories, supplier visits, etc.
- Challenge industry standards (as well as our own) to continually raise the bar
- Challenge current practices with your new ideas

Let’s talk about your capability and experience:

- At least 3+ years experience with data engineering and/or big data
- Experience with Azure tools (ADF, ADLS, SQL DBs, VNs, KeyVault, DevOps)
- Working knowledge of YAML pipelines is a must
- Experience with Data Science is a plus
- Knowledge of the mining sector is also a plus
- Good Inter-personal skills along with Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Task-oriented, self-driven, team leader & capable to work in cross-functional teams
