The Solution Architect is an integral part of BlueScope's growing global Transformation function, that champions Our Purpose, and supports the development of smart solutions that empowers our business and customers further.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the definition, ongoing management, and communication of the global BlueScope Digital Architecture, working closely with the Global Manager, Digital and Data Platforms.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and maintain the Global Enterprise Digital Architecture Framework; high level capabilities include Data and Analytics, Integration, Automation, Industrial IoT, CX, Supply chain and Manufacturing.

- Maintain the Global Enterprise Digital Architectural Framework through technology scanning, architectural guidelines, principles, and standards that are owned by the Digital Platforms guidance group and the Global Technology Council (GTC).

- Work with architects and SMEs in each of the regions (lead locations) to ensure that that regions and local BU's leverage in place capability and framework.

- Develop templates and patterns that allow projects to establish and reuse digital capability aligned to the framework.

This is a key position in our team and represents an opportunity to step up into a role that will have impact across our Global Business.





To be successful you will have:

- Proven experience applying planning, risk, policy and architectural frameworks and methodologies across a global business.

- Proven experience supporting the development and ongoing operations of a Digital Enterprise Architecture practice.

- Demonstrable experience in developing complex cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) across a global business

- Proven experience in supporting the delivery of digital initiatives, working closely with solution architects and work practices.

Qualifications

Location is Melbourne. Travelling domestically to other states may be required occasionally.
