Our client in the marketing industry is looking for a full time permanent Assistant Accountant.

Our client in the marketing industry is looking for a full time permanent Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team of 4 based in the South Yarra location. After full training you will have the opportunity to work some days at home giving you that work life balance.
Your new role
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Monthly forecasting and budgeting
- Process accruals/journals and finalise month-end and year-end accounts
- Review all transaction and re-allocate accounts as and when required
- Support the annual budget reports
- Management and maintenance of Fixed asset registers
- Implement and improve the company's financial policies,
procedures and processes as required
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Working towards CPA or CPA qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Previous experience with the above duties
- Full working rights with no working restrictions
- MYOB experience desirable but not essential
- 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Work well under pressure
