The Category Manager willdrive business revenue and profit through strategic supplier management and product ranging for the allocated Category.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Drive a strategic selection approach of business partners to source and negotiate product range, price and trading terms
- Create marketing programs and pricing that deliver category growth




- Manage and communicate supplier non-conformances and corrective actions activities
- Identify and communicate potential cost reduction/sourcing opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure online presence maximizing basket size value
- Develop a thorough strategic plan to drive value for your category based on an understanding of business & customer needs, the supply market, spend baseline and evolution, benchmarking, price availability, and supply chain logistics

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

- Previous role of Category Manager or Product Manager
- Exposure to supply chain negotiations and create strategic plans that deliver on category growth
- Self-sufficient, autonomous, and driven by managing your own piece of business
- Extremely savvy and commercially aware
- Organised and excellent time management
- Strategically minded and forward thinking
- Autonomous and self-sufficient
- Analytical and precise
- Strong business acumen combined with commercial awareness
