Role Purpose:

The data analyst position is a new full-time role within the investment team. The position requires in-depth knowledge of programming to maintain and develop investment analytical systems. The role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their career in funds management by building a knowledge of various fixed income investment strategies and financial instruments.



The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package plus incentive payment.

Role Responsibilities:

- Maintain existing investment systems and assist in the development of VBA and Python tools to automate data management and flow.
- Work with investment team to innovate to develop new investment tools.
- Support the investment team to run the portfolio risk system reporting.
- Help to manage information reporting to external stakeholders.

Role Requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, maths, statistics, or related discipline.
- Fluency in Python and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Knowledge and experience in using VBA, Mongo DB is desirable.
- Strong analytical and research skills to translate data insights into business benefits.
- Self-motivated with a curious and innovative mindset.
- An interest in financial instruments and investment markets.
