We’re looking for dental technicians for our finishing team across ceramics, acrylic and metal. In this role, you will be vital to improving patient oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses and implants. You’ll play an important role in building dental hardware to improve quality of life for our patients.
In this role, you will:
- Construct prostheses by following dental prescriptions and quality control
- Polish and hand finish dental appliances prior to its being dispatched for placement in the patient's mouth by the dentist.
- Read specifications and examining impressions or models to determine the design of dental products to be developed
- Polish surfaces of prosthetic metals with the aid of polishing tools
- Create documentation in our computer system including reports, logs, and records
- Identify, own,
and resolve any customer and operational issues to drive continuous improvement
- Review of risks/hazards and ensuring these are appropriately dealt with
About You
You're down to earth and thrive in a supportive team. You will bring the following with you to be successful in this role:
- Diploma in dental technology or similar
- Experience in the dental industry in a similar environment
- Excellent understanding of dental anatomy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport with team members and customers
- Flexibility and adaptability to change and assist in the introduction of new systems and technologies
