Your current role
As the estimator you will be a pivotal part of the bid team and be reporting directly to the Bid Manager. Duties will include,

- Create the estimate plan and coordinate the estimate development with the tenders and project teams
- May be required to review bids and proposals from contractors or vendors
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all cost estimates, project plans, and related documentation
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide input for potential cost-saving measures, recommendations on project feasibility, and project planning.
- Provide accurate cost estimates to the projects and identify all the necessary materials, equipment, and any other resources needed to finish the project





What you'll need to succeed

- Tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience in a similar field
- Full working rights in Australia
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience estimating medium sized projects to multimillion dollar projects.
- Considerable knowledge of engineering standards and regulations applicable to mining, telecommunications infrastructure including civils
- Good technical and practical estimating skills
