About the role We are now seeking applications for the positions of Ginner to join our specialised team in Dalby. The Ginner is in charge of their shift and must ensure the efficient, effective and safe operation of all areas under their control.



This is to be performed in a consistent way in which the ginner has been instructed, to oversee, manage and ensure all areas of the Gin production are operating safely and within state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

Along with the below listed responsibilities, the employee should conduct any other business related to the function as required by her or his supervisor.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• SHE (Safety, Health and Environment)
• Gin Operation and Safety
• Maintenance and upkeep of work areas
• Employee supervision
• Work permits

Experiences

Essential Experience:
• Background in, Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic, fitter, welding, or fabrication
• At least four year’s relevant ginning experience
• Working within a strict safe work environment
• Machine Operation

Skills

Desired skills:
• Strong supervision skills in a maintenance/production environment
• Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Reporting
• Leadership abilities
