Role Responsibility

Brand Management:

- Manage the development & implementation of marketing activity for Brands delivering on global and local strategy to achieve stated targets;
- Work collaboratively with Global Brand and digital, Licensing/Commercial, Content Sales, Creative, Communications, and Audience Insight managers to deliver effective 360 integrated campaigns across all platforms;
- Manage the briefing, development and implementation of media and creative campaigns;
- Be the local brand champion and key conduit between the Global Brands Team;
- Delivery of global campaigns and marketing expertise to top-value clients;
- Management & responsibility of brand & project budgets;
- Management & oversight of brand & commercial activities across ANZ social & digital platforms;

Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Scope & Impact

Job Context

- The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering on global and local objectives
- The role focuses on the development and implementation of activities identified in local plans for the growth of Brands in market
- Assist in being the driving force for the brands and associated businesses in territory, as well as a key conduit between and support for, the central brands team in London
- Must be flexible and work across a range of genres, across all media (irrespective of their area of expertise) and in line with the wider business needs
- Audience and customer focus is critical to the success of our business and fundamental to all brand communications.



As such it is essential to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the brands target market and the broader media market
- This role has no direct reports.

Planning and Organisation

The role requires proactive planning and organisation of tasks to ensure all projects are delivered on deadline and within budget.

- Implementation of brand activity across all functions and ensuring that overall strategies and standards are adhered to
- Communicating with stakeholders locally and overseas (internal & external).

Direction Received

- The role receives direction from the Senior Marketing Manager

Strategic Planning & Decision Making

This role assists with strategic planning, creative thinking and planning sessions. The role will need to clearly understand the strategic direction of global and local marketing campaigns to be able to contribute to implementing across all business areas.

Relationships

Brand custodians in the UK, colleagues in global territories and divisions, managers and team members within ANZ departments, key external business, commercial and broadcast partners.

Are you the right candidate?

- Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing/brand management role
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of / experience with working across digital and social marketing platforms
- Partnership and stakeholder management
- Project management
- Creative ideas orientated
- Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)
- Attention to detail
- Proactive
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of BBC brands, guidelines and values.

Education

Tertiary qualifications ideally in marketing or a related degree
