Your new role
You will work closely with Senior Management to ensure successful delivery of projects safely within the most cost and time affective manner. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will
- produce construction programs for distribution and implementation along with continuous monitoring of throughout the project life.
- In conjunction with supervisors / superintendents you will ensure the procurement and planning of project resources including materials and labour
- Production/Authorisation of subcontractor agreements, purchase orders and supply agreements
- Monitoring of daily costs, working with superintendents to recognise variations / costs / additional works, preparation of end of month claims / reports
- Willingness and ability to travel to project locations throughout SEQ on a DIDO/FIFO bases WHEN / IF the project requires. (all accommodation/travel expenses paid)
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager who has an extensive civil knowledge & project tenure.
- A degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business from an accredited Tertiary institution
- Demonstrated significant civil engineering experience
- Management and leadership skills and a proven ability to lead a team
- Recent experience in overseeing road projects along with strong negation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well both autonomously and in a dynamic team environment
- (DTMR Project Experience would be HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS)
