The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Wangara team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a Sales Coordinator . BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

In this role, you will be working closely with the Customer Service function for our BlueScope Building Components brand in Western Australia. This role plays an important part in supporting our people to strengthen their capability and capacity now and into the future. You’ll lead with enthusiasm and be eager to jump in and help the team when and where the need arises.

What Will You Do?

With an attention on the well-being and engagement of your people, you will:

- build, maintain and manage relationships with customers
- coordinate and support the customer service team, assisting them with escalated customer issues




- work closely with other internal teams such as sales, pricing, product development, manufacturing and supply chain to design suitable product and service offers aligned to customer needs and business capability
- deliver continuous improvement initiatives, creating an encouraging setting for your team to contribute ideas and support outcomes

More About You

We are looking for a resourceful, self-motivated and creative thinker who have the following skills and attributes:

- experienced in outdoor building products, in particular sheds and patios / verandas will be advantageous
- previous exposure to light weight steel structures within the Home Improvement market
- demonstrated sales experience
- ability to read and comprehend plans
- hands on, practical person with an ability to understand customer projects
- strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- confidence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems
- an ability to navigate a diverse stakeholder base and influence others
- market-facing experience where you refined your customer or supplier relationship management skills
- expertise in CRM and ERP systems would be advantageous
