About the opportunity:

This is a brand new role in our Sales team, reporting to the Head of T&G; Australia. As a Sales Specialist , you’ll enjoy the variety of procuring and selling into wholesale and retail across a range of fresh produce categories, and selling our fruit ingredients product range into the food manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities include:

- Represent and grow T&G;’s brand presence and market share in Brisbane
- Manage and grow sales and supply of products across both our fresh produce and fruit ingredients categories
- Identify new business opportunities - grower, category and customer - both wholesale and retail
- Maintain positive, sustainable relationships with suppliers and customers
- Ensure supply of products meets market demand and quality standards




- Develop and implement account plans and promotional programmes

This role has a high degree of customer interaction and engagement throughout Brisbane, including the Brisbane Markets in Rocklea, and some interstate travel will be required. You’ll have the autonomy to plan your own customer call cycle, and the flexibility to work from your home office.

An attractive salary package is on offer plus super and vehicle allowance.

About you:

You’re a high-performing Sales / Account Manager with experience and networks in the food manufacturing / ingredients and/or fresh produce sector. Commercially savvy with a sharp eye for an opportunity, you’re renowned for your ability to build quality relationships that lead to robust commercial results. As you will know from experience, the food sector moves at pace, so you’re the type of person who thrives with a challenge to solve against the clock, and possess the resilience and tenacity to drive sales in a highly competitive market.
