Talent Economy is working with a prestigious Melbourne-based Sports, Hospitality, Events, and Property Development companies in the search for a skilled, ambitious and innovative Senior Data Analyst looking to make their mark in a newly created, strategic role within an evolving business.

Reporting to the GM for Consumer, this is a dream role for a Data Analyst with considerable experience in a large, complex, fast-paced business environment who is motivated by autonomy and the ability to solve complex problems within an evolving data landscape.

This is a huge career prospect to break out of a siloed role into a strategic position within the Australian sports and entertainment landscape. You will have a seat at the table to deliver strategic data-led projects across senior cross-functional leadership groups.

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will own the analytics, maintenance and development of data systems and data architecture framework. You will plan and deliver both proactive data analysis projects that deliver excellent outcomes for internal and external parties.





You will influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive a culture of customer centricity by providing actionable insights, partnering closely with the commercial and marketing teams.

You will be a natural mentor to your direct report, curious and commercial thinking, and an exceptional communicator with high levels of EQ.

What you’ll need

- Tertiary qualification in Data or Analytics related fields
- 5 year’s experience within a fast paced, high volume, sports, wagering, hospitality and events industry, or similar
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and mentoring
- Experience in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics desired
- Superior problem solving skills and a strong foundation of skill and knowledge across the data lifecycle
- Experience with major IT implementation projects and contributing to cross-functional teams
- Full working rights in Australia and ability to provide a National Police Check
