Are you seeking a senior role within Queensland Health Procurement? The System Procurement team is seeking a temporary full time Senior Procurement Officer (AO6). This exciting role is responsible for driving the delivery of value for money through the implementation of best practice procurement and sourcing methodologies.

What we are looking for:

- Holds self and others accountable for the delivery of outcomes, tasks and closure of projects on time, on budget and to customer satisfaction.
- Solves difficult problems through logic, use of data and the appropriate Advisory & Continuous Improvement frameworks. Considers broader interests of stakeholders to deliver creative solutions
- Demonstrates an understanding of the key drivers for all stakeholders, internal and external, and works to provide best value commercial solutions.
- Leverages business sector opportunities and market dynamics to execute strategy.
- Demonstrated experience implementing contract and supplier management strategies and techniques,



including robust negotiation skills; ability to tender evaluation processes (leading to contract award for complex tenders) and ability to manage resolve supplier performance issues to ensure procured value is fully delivered.
