ABOUT THE ROLE:
Multiple opportunities for experienced Senior Surveyors interested to join our
growing team in Melbourne. You will work closely with the Project Survey Manager and be responsible for the supervision and support of all survey team members, and the planning and co-ordinating of all survey related activities in conjunction with the project engineering, design, and construction teams.
- Liaise with the Project Survey Manager, designers, engineers, other business unit managers and clients on all survey related matters and provide data as necessary.
- Manage, maintain, and update survey control networks and data bases for the project.
- Produce Safe Work Method Statements and Survey Method Statements.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of survey data and calculations for as built conformance reports, monthly progress reports, project quantity reports, and the like.
- Create and manage survey systems including data collection and recording, equipment calibration procedures and records, as built data records, and survey budget.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Surveying or other relevant formal higher education
- Prior significant experience across a variety of projects and surveying disciplines with an emphasis on registration.
- Prior experience managing teams of direct and subcontracted teams’ members
- Sound computer skills with emphasis on Surveying packages
- Willingness to adapt to new methods, equipment, and procedures where necessary
